Mother/Son Bonding (Lulu and Ashton)

Lulu was super nervous today. She was going to be seeing her son again. She had cleaned the house from top to bottom, baby proofed it (even though Balazar had told her it wasn't necessary), and had tons of toys and things for him. Now that she looked at it, she may have gone too far.

Lulu was not sitting on the couch, anxious, Balazar was at a Council meeting so he would not be home for at least a few hours. She looked at the clock 12:00 already, that meant Ashton and Liza would be coming pretty soon, she heard her front door being knocked on and she stood up and walked to it.

She wiped her hands on her jeans before opening the door, she smiled at everyone. " Hey guys, come in." She said, moving out of the way to let them in.

Ashton was being dropped off for his first time without Mommy (Liza) or Daddy (Balazar) being around. Though that was apparently due to something called "work" that daddy had to do. Mommy had explained the situation but he still felt abandoned. He had spent time with Daddy. Especially after Daddy came and grabbed him. Taking him home with him. Mommy Liza wasn't allowed to come around for awhile after Liza dropped him off. Daddy had said so. He watched as he was set down before he bolted and crouched in the corner of the room. Mommy was leaving again. He wasn't sure of lulu. She smelled nervous. He stuck his fingers in his mouth and started nomming and sucking on them. Sitting on his butt. He wondered if Mommy Lulu could smell the pain and salt that Mommy (liza) had hid before handing him over. She said something...wishing Lulu luck. His eyes never moved from them. Watching as Liza's back would retreat.

Lulu could not help but be nervous, this would be the first time she got to be alone with her son since he was a baby. It had been 20 years. She almost shook her head, not being able to believe her baby was 2 human years but 20 vampire years. Lulu nodded as Liza said good luck, she closed the door behind her and looked around for Ashton.

" Ashton?" She called out softly, she walked into the living room and saw Ashton in a corner, nomming on his fingers, she crouched down in front of him. She could smell the salt and pain from Liza on him. She sat down on her butt and looked at him kindly. She looked over at the toy chest, grabbed a ball, and held it in her hands.

" I have some toys for you to play with Ashton, or i can make you something to eat? Bala claims I make the best mac and cheese although i don't think I do." She laughed and she held the ball out to him in case he wanted to play with it.

Ashton wasn't too sure of Lulu. She had nerves radiating off her. He didn't understand how he was picking it up. He had smelled sorrow, pain and upset from Mommy (liza). He didn't know who this was. Vaguelly...very faintly...deep in the recesses of his mind he might faintly remember her face with mobiles spinning around. He recoiled at the strange woman calling his name. Nomming on his fingers he shoved the rest of his hand into his mouth. Sucking on it. He moved backwards more and growled around his hand. Looking at her a bit. Tilting his head as he tried to understand what she was saying. She smelled yummy. She might be food. He heard his thoughts thinking. Toys? What were toys?

Lulu finally had calmed herself down, she knew there was no need to be nervous. But she couldn't help it. She had walked into the living room and saw him recoil when she called his name, she was a bit hurt. But the feeling dissipated. She heard him growl and it hurt her even more. " Do you not like me Ashton?" She asked him softly, she knew he was probably scared out of his mind right now. Maybe that was why he growled? A part of her knew it wasn't it, but she decided that was what she would tell herself.

Lu rolled the ball gently towards him. " You don't know what toys are do you?" She asked him with a tilt of her head. " If you don't want to play maybe I can get you something to eat?" She suggested.
