Damian was born to two unknown parents, his mum died giving birth to him while his dad was a dead beat he hoped was dead. Damian was taken in by the Zero's who already had a son his age but were more than willing to take Damian. What nobody knew was his mother had saved up a lot of money and hid it away for Damian when he was old enough he could inherit it. She save up over a 100 billion dollars, how much of it was legal no one knew, so now he is a multi billionaire and doesn't mind spending any of the money.

When Akina came along it was a surprise but a very good one, when Damian first laid eye's on her, he wanted to do everything in his power to protect her. So he and Daniel made an agreement to always and forever protect Akina. When the Hunters became dark and began capturing some of the other hunters and killing them, Mark and Julia helped the three of them escape by sacrificing themselves to give the children more time to escape.

As they grew, they began training in a variety of fields, Damians speciality was hand to hand combat and using throwing knives. He trained both Akina and Daniel in martial arts, once they were old enough they went back to the hunters council, infiltrated it, and began to form a plan of destroying it from the inside out.

On one hunt for a dark lycan, Damian almost died protecting Akina. Everything is pretty sketchy but he could see how scared Akina was and he knew she felt the same way he felt about her. The two of them struck up a secret romance and would not tell anyone, not even Daniel, about it.
