| Clayton was in the basement of the Taylor residence, the twins had sculpted it into their sanctuary. A place where they could perform their craft without onlookers or judgement. Clayton was ever so trying to get a form of resurrection spell mastered so they could revive their parents who had essentially died because of him. It was a burden of guilt he held on his shoulders for as long as he could remember. Clayton had been trying on small animals that had died from natural causes but every time they came back if they did they came back dark and unlike themselves.
It vaguely reminded him of the film Pet Cemetery, he wasn't going to go through bringing his parents back from the grave if he would just have to end them himself. He jumped slightly when he heard the door open and he said a silent prayer to bless the animal for a happy after life and tossed the rabbit into the fire. “I am down here babe.“ He shouted up at who he hoped was Cameron.
A couple of audible steps down the stairs and he saw his mirror image, his twin. Cameron had left to gather some herbs that they have been missing or low on. “Have a nice trip hun?“ Clayton dropped everything and hugged him tightly and kissed him on the cheek. “Here let me take those off your hands.“ He grabbed the bags and started putting the herbs in their designated places.

| Cameron had a busy day. He wiped his forehead in the warm sun. His dark hair had become unruly due to the perspiration he had started to give off. He was obviously not cut out for athletics. That was his brother's department and sweet Isis if the bags he currently had on his arms weren't heavy! Cameron may look like he was muscular and ripped, but he wasn't used to using them. As he walked into the house and locked the door he felt immediate relief. His mocha skin practically sang in pleasure at the cool temperature of the house.
Walking down the stairs he heard a shout from his twin giving his location. Smiling he entered the basement sanctuary. When his lover inquired about his trip he held up the bags he was carrying and accepted the hug and kiss to the cheek. "Yeah, but it's really warm outside." He said as was made obvious by the flush on his cheeks. As Clayton took the bags from him he smiled. He was glad to have the weight lifted. He quickly made to help but tripped over a chair at his potions desk. Bracing himself, Cameron felt the harsh bite of the floor on his palms. After gaining his bearings he looked at his skinned hands, they weren't awful but it hurt. He let out a slight whimper as he tried to remove himself from the floor.

| Clayton grinned when he saw Cameron's smile, it was the one for sure thing that would and always would brighten up his day. "That it is my love, but I am most certain I could fix that." Clayton pointed at the window and murmured some Latin chant and the window busted open to let in a huge ominous gust of breeze directly aimed at Cameron. The sweet satisfaction of it would cool his twin indefinitely. Clayton started going through the bags as he looked up and gave his brother a firm wink of teasing nature. And just before his eyes Cameron tripped over a chair and the second he hit the ground Clayton had rushed over and brought Cameron into his arms. "Don't try to move baby, let me see your hands." He stated in his normal protective tone. Clayton was overly protective of his twin and there was no fix for it. It would be something that would be a part of him eternally.
"Come here." He murmured before picking Cameron up and placing him on the table facing him. He grabbed his twins wrists and held out his palms upwards. The ragged scuffed up skin was now started to leak crimson. Barely seeping over the layers of skin, Clayton closed his eyes and placed his hands over Cameron's. Not touching them but hovering them protectively, He once again murmured a spell. It was considered dark because it channeled his own life force into the victim but essentially healing them. As he continued chanting his hands delicately placed themselves on Cameron's. Clayton grinned as he finished and realized that Cameron's wounds were vanished from existence.
"There you go all better." He panted out as a trail of blood trickled through his nose and down his lips. Clayton wiped it with his sleeve and tried to ignore the fact that he was almost taxed out for his magic for the day. Cameron hated when he over used magic and he was almost certain that he was going to hear a lecture over it but he had to dabble around to see if he could bring back his parents.

| Cameron had felt so silly. He couldn't believe that he had actually tripped over a chair. He felt a deep crimson stain spread across his cheeks. He heard his brother's hurried footsteps and then seen that beautiful face marred with concern. As his brother took his palms he looked away feeling incredibly embarrassed. The red stain came back to his cheeks, causing them to turn a dusty rose color. When he felt the cuts disappear he looked up at his brother, he had plenty of potions prepared for such an event.
It was then that Cameron noticed the blood coming from Clayton's nose. His twin wiped it away quick enough but it was too late. He gave a sharp pinch to Clayton's hip, where he knew his twin was most sensitive. "If you keep taxing yourself out like this I am going to bind you to the bed with enchanted ropes. And not the ones used for play time." Cameron said in a soft voice. The look on his face was dead serious. He may have been the quiet one, but he liked things a little wild in the bed room. However his brother would not get to see him tied up like a pretty present if he continued his current behavior. He gave Clayton a glare that displayed his full displeasure with his twin at that moment.

| Clayton was mentally chuckling because it was just like his brother to be so clumsy. He would often joke that he needed to be put in a plastic bubble to protect him from self harm. Clayton's concern came naturally it took over him as if he had no control. He would and did everything in his power to make sure his brother was perfectly safe at all times. "Don't be embarrassed love. It happens to the best of us." Clayton said with a sedative tone, as if he was trying to use his words to calm his twin. Clayton even though he was bleeding out of his nose tried to smile away the draining pain to give his twin a false sense of hope.
He jumped slightly at the pinch and bit his lip nodding as he heard Cameron claim that he was going to be tied up if he kept taxing his magic like he had been. Clayton shrugged and softly whispered out in a cold dead tone "But I have to. I owe them." Clayton didnt want to be any more morbid then he had to be so he leaned in and roughly bit his twins ear. "And besides love two can play that game." Clayton delicately kissed Cameron's cheek and stumbled over to the bags to continue putting away their supplies.
Clayton took in a deep breath and growled in frustration when the blood continued dripping down his face. He was more than sure that his lover would get worried about him, and within a couple of moments Clayton was worried about himself as well. Clayton slowly slid down to the floor after he had finished putting everything away. He took deep breaths in and out to try and relax himself. "Babe.... could you give me one of your potions please."

| Cameron huffed as Clayton tried to put up the remaining herbs and such. Blood was still steadily running from his nose and connecting to his luscious lips. He ran his hand through his brunette hair and rolled his eyes. When his brother asked for a potion he merely nodded. He hated to see his brother hurt himself due to his damning quest to try and bring his parents back. He knew Clayton felt guilty over what had happened, but he didn't see the point if his twin was just going to join them soon. He hated to even think about it.
Cameron went to his work desk and looked at the shelves above it. He requisitioned the required potion and walked over to his brother. "Three drops and then to bed. The rest of this can wait until you're rested." Cameron said in a matter-of-fact tone that left no room for arguments. Cameron felt awful inside despite his firm tone. He had made peace with his parent's deaths; however his brother still felt responsible. Cameron could never deny Clayton anything, so he allowed and assisted him in his quest to do the virtually impossible. He stepped beside his brother once more and helped him to his feet, moving for their bedroom.

| Clayton was trying to give himself something to do to see if he could rebuild his strength without magic or potions but he was slipping. He had really taxed himself this time, all the black magics were so powerful and he wasn't all that experienced. He licked his lip and tasted the thick sense of iron. "I know what your thinking. I can read it on your face. You think I'm mad for thinking I can do this. But I dont know what else to do. Its my fault so its only right that I try to fix it." Clayton looked up from the ground and took a couple drops of the required potion that was handed to him. "If you say so."
Clayton barely made it to his feet and leaned on his brother firmly not wanting the assistance because it made him seem weak or helpless and that was the feeling he felt when he watched his parents burn to a crisp. "What would I do without you?" He said with a exhausted chuckle. Clayton and Cameron made their way upstairs and just like that the bleeding had stopped but he was still out of it. The walked past the living room and Clayton tugged his body towards the couch and plopped down pulling Cameron with him. "No more stairs, right here is fine."
Clayton kissed Cameron's forehead and grinned as this potion often made him loopy or really out of it. "Why are you so gorgeous? It drives me crazy, you get me every time. It always has." Clayton moved his lips to his twins and kissed him passionately. He leaned up and stripped his shirt off as he broke a sweat his body burning up as the potion started taking effect.

| Cameron sighed as he began to walk up the stairs. Sometimes his brother could be so reckless. As he walked to the living room he felt his brother pull him to the couch. When he was told that they would be staying there he merely shook his head. He knew the potion messed with the mental faculties of a person. However it was no aphrodisiac, so when his brother pulled him into a passionate kiss it was more likely a plot to cause Cameron to forget his anger.
Cameron entertained Clayton's passion for a moment, and then abruptly put a stop to the kiss. "Sleep now." Cameron ordered his twin with his sternest voice. This would be his punishment for acting foolish instead of using his head. Cameron understood his concern, however it was no excuse for acting before thinking. That was the point Cameron made to rise from the couch.

| Clayton understood Cameron had to be madder than Hades at him, how could he be so stupid. So reckless to let his insane mission to bring back his parents more important than his own well being. He knew that Cameron was probably worried sick about him as his twin started shaking his head at him. The kiss was not a ploy to get him to forget about his anger and disappointment. He honestly wanted to kiss him with everything he had left in him, as if it was a farewell before the potion took its effect and knocked him out cold. "Awh but I don't want to." He firmly stated as his eyes rolled backwards and he flat out passed out cold on the couch. Clayton whined when he felt the absence of his lover as Cameron left from the couch but there was nothing he could do anymore.
After a few hours it was pitch black, but in the rampant dreams brewing inside of Clayton's mind a bright orange glow tormented him. It was their car, just like it was the day his parents died. His parents inside crying out from the piercing flames, the hot embers scorching their flesh entirely. Clayton's body was drenched with sweat and his temperature was still sky high as if he was burning through a bad fever. "NO NO COME BACK I CAN FIX THIS! NO NO NO!!!!!" He screamed out in his sleep as he continued through the nightmare. Clayton shot wide awake after one more painful cry of torture and his magic was full once again. The lights in the living room flashed on but shortly sizzled out before the light fixtures exploded accidentally due to his nightmare.

| After Cameron had left Clayton on the couch he had went back down to the basement and placed all the herbs and other assorted goods in their places. He had a special place for everyone. His green eyes studied the position of each before he nodded his head. He ran his hand through black locks before he heard screaming from upstairs. Cameron's eyes widened drastically and he rushed upstairs as fast as he could. He found Clayton in quite a state. He was covered in sweat and had tears brimming in his eyes, threatening to over take his face. He arrived in time for every light to come on and bust spontaneously.
In a flash Cameron was at his twin's side and was whispering sweet calming words into his ear while holding him tight to his chest. He already knew it was The Nightmare again. They never really talked about it, but Clayton had the same nightmare about their parent's death. Cameron felt awful that Clayton felt such pain and guilt because of it. When he felt that Clayton had calmed himself enough he tilted his brother's head up to search his eyes. Cameron's green eyes penetrated Clayton's own to search for reassurance that he was truly ok. He knew Clayton well so he would know if he was lying.

| Clayton always had the same nightmare it pretty much blamed him for his parents death because here he was a witch the entire time and he should have been able to stop the accident. Of course he couldn't be at fault for it but that is the way it played out in his mind. Clayton left a sweat impression in the couch beneath him, molding the outline of his body as if it was a layer of skin peeling off of him. Tears was evident as the poured over the brim of his eyes and he was even shaking now. When Cameron came to his side Clayton was rocking back and forth trying to calm himself down before he made something worse happen with his magic. "Its all my fault. Its all my fault." He continued to murmur like he did every time he had the repeating nightmare.
Clayton looked deeply into Cameron's eyes, the same trick always worked. His twins eyes seemed to give him a weird calming effect. His eyes were blank as well as his expression, it was as if he was a ghost blankly trying to find his reason for the afterlife. His unfinished business that kept him grounded to the physical plane of the world. "Cameron.... why couldn't I save them? Why did I fail them?" Clayton fell into his brothers lap and pressed his forehead against his stomach. Cameron would have felt that his temperature was sky high, much hotter than usual when taking the potion. As if this time it was having a negative effect on him.
"Im lightheaded and hot." He whimpered out as he knew Cameron was going through something that he didnt have to do often, be the one in control making the choices. Clayton huffed and stood up, realizing he had stripped himself entirely in his sleep and stumbled to the shower on the ground floor. He barely made it there without the walls help and slipped onto the shower floor. He waved his hand and turned the water on full blast on cold. "Oh god that is cold." He groaned out but knew that he had to stay under it to make himself better. Clayton didn't want Cameron to see him like this so used that as motivation to make himself function properly.
