| Vince was very happy Sirena had said yes to going out on a date with him. He honestly thought she'd laugh in his face and tell him no way José. But luckily that didn't happen. Vince looked at his clock, it was almost 8:00, he wanted to tale Sirena somewhere special tonight.
Vince quickly got dressed in a nice button up shirt, a pair of nice pants, and a pair of shoes. He walked out of his office and headed down to the lake, he told her he would meet her there and take her somewhere nice. But his reservation at a nice restaurant somehow fell through so they would be having a romantic meal in the Gazebo in the gardens.
Vince quickly made his way to the lake, hoping he wasn't late. He walked down the steps, careful not to slip, and stopped as he came to the side of the lake. " Sirena?" He called out and waited to see her.

| Sirena was so nervous about her date tonight that she had actually changed her clothes a few times not knowing what actually to wear on the date. She had swam to her home to bring clothes back with her. She had a waterproof bag that she could carry things in. She had finally decided on a powder blue sundress with spaghetti straps.
She was trying to decide about wearing shoes, which was new for her because she never wore shoes. Sirena looked up when she heard her name and she smiled, "I never wear shoes. Do I need shoes?" She questions looking down at her feet, not noticing him looking at her and how dressed up she was.

| Vince looked as he heard Sirena's voice, his jaw nearly dropped, she looked absolutely stunning. " You look beautiful Sirena." He told her, when she asked about if she needed to wear shoes he shook his head. " No, you don't need to wear shoes. Although, you do need to wear this." He said and he held a blindfold in the palm of his hand. " I want it to be a surprise." He said a bit sheepishly. When she allowed him to put the blindfold on her he did and he held her hand. " It's not that far by the way." He mentioned as he lead her up the stone steps and walked with her to the gardens, he wiped one of his hands on his pants as they were beginning to sweat. What if she didn't like it? What if she said it was the worst date she had ever been on and refused to ever see him again? That would probably kill him. He shook the thoughts away, he didn't need to think so negatively. If she thought it was going to be a terrible date she would never had agreed to it, right? Once they made it to the gazebo he smiled softly. " Ready?" He asked her, when she nodded he untied the blindfold and looked at her. " Well, what do you think? I was going to take you to a nice romantic restaurant but the reservation fell through, Jules and some of the other staff helped me decorate it. If you don't like it and want to go back to the lake i understand completely." He rambled on nervously. The Gazebo | |

| Sirena was having a hard time getting used to the compliments that Vince was always giving her about her beauty. She had of course heard it many times from her hundreds of male victims, but Vince meant what he was saying so it meant more to her. “It’s been a very long time since someone wanted to surprise me.” She blushed, but was excited when he said she didn’t have to wear shoes, she really hated shoes.
Sirena was a little nervous when he wanted to place the blindfold on her, but she trusted him so she allowed him to lead her away from the cave. “Anywhere with you is fine with me.” She said with a smile in her voice. She could tell that he was really nervous by the times he had switched hands because they were getting sweaty. “Vince no need to worry so much. Whatever it is I am going to love it because it’s from you.” Sirena would not care if he just took her on a walk to see a tree. Anytime with him was a treasure.
When they ended up where he was taking her she was a little nervous at what he was going to show her. “Just take off the blindfold and stop worrying.” She said with a smile. When he removed the blindfold she placed her hands over her mouth and started to cry a little, tear of happiness. “It’s beautiful Vince. I would not have cared if it would have been on the grass and on a blanket.” She said as she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him. “Being with you is all that matters and you remembered my water.” She said noticing a bucket with a bottle in it.

| Vince smiled a bit when she spoke and blushed. " Well expect a lot of good surprises from me." He told her as he noticed she was excited she didn't have to wear shoes, she never had to wear shoes for all he cared. He was still believing that he was dreaming and that he'd wake up soon. He noticed she seemed a bit nervous about the blindfold and he wondered if it was a bad idea, but it seemed she trusted him enough to do it. When she spoke he nodded. " Good. It won't be that far I promise." He said
Vince kept switching hands as they kept sweating, he blushed furiously and was glad she couldn't see it. He always sweated when he was nervous, he didn't know why. When she mention him being worried he laughed nervously. " I know, it doesn't stop me from worrying though. But I do hope you really like it." He said softly as they were almost at the Gazebo.
Vince stopped with her and didn't even notice he was rambling until she told him to stop. He smiled. " Yes ma'am." He said and he untied the blindfold and just watched her. When he noticed she began to cry he hoped it wasn't that bad and that she was crying tears of joy. He quickly searched his pockets and he found a handkerchief, he quickly handed it to her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back. " I just wanted the best for you Sirena." He told her softly, he smiled. " Of course I remembered your water, did you think I would forget?" He asked before he lead her inside the Gazebo.
" I wasn't sure what you'd like so I asked the cook to make one of her specialities. It's a Sirloin steak, cooked to however you like it. With mashed potatoes, a salad, and for desert I thought I'd let you pick. So, you decide what you want, I'll quickly take it to the chef, and have her whip it up for you." He told her with a kind smile, he pulled out her chair for her and waited for her to sit before he did. But what Sirena didn't know was that Vince had actually cooked all the food himself and planned on cooking the desert she wanted. Not a lot of people knew he liked to cook, he planned on telling her once the meal was done.

| Sirena could not believe everything that this man was doing for her; she could care less if the surprise was just a walk to see the beautiful sunset because as long as she was with Vince she didn’t care. “Well just being able to spend time with you is surprises enough for me.” She smiled. As they continued to walk she could feel everything between her toes and it felt like grass so it got her thinking of possibilities. “Doesn’t matter how far as long as it’s just me and you.”
Sirena pulled him to a stop for a moment and hugged him because she wanted him to know that he was special just for being who he was and no matter what he did she would never be disappointed. She just wanted him to know that he makes her happy. “No worries already, whatever it was will be perfect.” She smiled and kissed his hands. When he showed her and she started to cry she took the handkerchief from him to dry his eyes then she just thru her arms around him. “You just always remember everything about me, and I have never met anyone like that.” She smiled then frown, “My mother didn’t even remember everything.”
Sirena smiled, “Generally I eat anything as long as it doesn’t come from the sea.” Sirena commented because she could not help but eat the people from where she came from. She would never hate others for eating seafood, but she wouldn’t eat it. “This smells delicious and I think you should let the chef decide, because they are never wrong.” She gladly sat in the chair he offered her and she blushed a little. “Just so you know I am not a very good cook, but I would try to learn for you.” She said as she put her head down a little in embarrassment because even her mother knew how to cook.

| Vince blushed a bit at Sirena's comment, because he felt the same way. They could just be sitting doing whatever and he would be okay with it. He walked with her through the grass, headed to the gazebo and he nodded. " Luckily it'll just be the two of us." He assured her, he would be very mad if a member of faculty or a student interrupted their date. He didn't get mad often, but he wanted no interruptions tonight. Vince wanted it to be perfect for her, because that's what she deserved.
Vince blinked as he was suddenly pulled to a stop, he hugged Sirena back and held her close. He was so worried that everything needed to be perfect he got himself all worked up and in a fuss, but now he had calmed himself down while embracing her that he realized that all she needed was him and all he needed was her and the date would be perfect. " I hope so." He told her as she kissed his hands. He than walked, a hand around her waist, and he walked with her to the gazebo. He watched her wipe her eyes with the handkerchief, he wrapped his arms around her tightly and he listened to her. " I could say i have eidetic memory, but that'd be a bit of a lie." He joked with a chuckle, he looked at her. " I'm sure your mother remembered the important things." He said hopefully.
Vince chuckled. " I don't eat fish. So you will have no worries about me cooking anything from the sea." He told her with a smile. He had never liked fish, it had been one of the things he absolutely refused to eat. His sister never knew why and he couldn't explain it either, he just didn't like it. Vince nodded. " Alright. I will tell the chef once we finish eating." He said as he sat down across from her. He looked at her. " That's alright. I'll teach you how to cook, or I can just cook all the meals and you won't have to do anything. But I think it'll be pretty hilarious and tons of fun helping you cook." Vince told her, he had taught himself how to cook over the years, just from reading cook books and all that kinda stuff.

| Sirena had to admit that she was glad that it was juts Vince and her having dinner together. Even though it usually was just the two of them, this was a different type of evening. “Well I am glad it’s just us.” She smiled, “Now that you are mine I don’t want to share with anyone.” She smiled and squeezed his hand, “Maybe the students once in awhile.” Sirena was very happy and had not felt this way in a very, very long time.
There was something about Vince that made him perfect in Sirena’s eyes and she knew that he would never have to do anything special to change that. She wanted to be with the man that he was and she wanted to spend the rest of her life showing him that being with him was all that matter to her. Just like the first day they talked to each other and spent hours in the lagoon talking and holding each other. Those were the perfect times. “No more hoping Vincent, I would never tell you anything false.” She said as she held and kissed his hands. She melted into his arms when he held her and she started to cry, it was so perfect, “My mother forgot many things.” Sirena sighed.
Sirena smiled as she sat down at the table with Vince and they began to talk. She was glad that he didn’t like to eat fish because that was one less thing she would have to worry about. She never disliked people for eating fish and she would not have stopped dating him for eating it either. “Maybe that’s another thing destiny placed in front of us to tie us together.” She volunteered with a shrug. She was looking at him from across the table and she was thinking that they were too far apart so she stood up and moved her chair so she was right next to him and could place her hand on his leg if she wanted. “I think it would be fun to learn to cook with you.” She said with a blush, “Just make sure we have a sink full of water so I can put out the fire I am sure to start.” She said with a laugh.
Sipping on her water she looked at him, “So what types of foods are your favorites then?” She wondered.

| Vince chuckled and smiled at Sirena. " Good, because you'll never have to share me with anyone. Also, i don't want to share you with anyone either." He told her as they walked, he squeezed her hand back. " Yeah maybe the students." He agreed. Vince could see that she was very happy with him and hoped he could always make her this happy, if not he would try his hardest because thats all he wanted for Sirena. He wanted her to be as happy as she possibly could.
Vince did not see himself as being perfect, he saw more flaws in him than with anyone else. But Sirena, he saw no flaws, no imperfections, absolutely nothing but beauty, brains, and perfection. Now that may be corny to think but he didn't care, that's how he saw Sirena. He thought that ever since he first saw her in the lake, than it was only confirmed when they talked for hours and hours and he just held her. Vince smiled. " I'm glad and I promise the same in return." He told her as he brought her hands up to his lips and kissed both of them. Vince held her as she cried tears of joy, he kissed the top of her head and stroked her hair.
Vince had never liked fish, not even when he was a child, he wasn't sure why though. His sister used to joke and ask if he was afraid he'd turn into one or something like that. Now that Sirena had said it he wondered if it was true, that the reason he didn't like fish was because Sirena liked fish and had grown up around them. " I think you're right." He commented as he thought about it, maybe they were destined to be together? He sure hoped so. Vince watched as she moved her chair and he moved his as well closer to her so they could meet in the middle, he laughed a bit. " I doubt you will start a fire, if so, just blame it on the stove and say its faulty or something." He told her with a sly wink, he had started many fires in the kitchens when he had learned to cook.
Vince shrugged a bit. " Hmm I dunno really, I love Italian food, I love southern cooking as long as its not too spicy, so basically any food will do but i think those two are my favorites." He told her as he thought. " What about you?"
