When Caroline was seven years old, her father was killed when he was protecting his captain pirate. Her father was apart of the pirate crew and always tried to get Caroline and her older brother to join it as well. He would train them at young ages and tried to persuade them to also join the Pirate crew as it was a family tradition. When her father died, Caroline trained on her own to become a pirate member and she succeeded at that.

When she was ten, her older brother died in a fire and ever since then Caroline has been afraid of fire. When her brother died she was a mess and kept herself busy by training, but when she was fifteen, her mother sent her away to get some help which she was successful on.
