The Dizzy, The Desperate, and The Unaware

Cameron entered the office in the back of the library. He was there to see the school counselor. He wasn't even sure what to tell her. That his power hungry brother had gone off to try and find a way to bring back their dead parents? It was a perplexing situation to say the least. He knocked softly on the door and called out softly in greeting. He wasn't even really paying attention. His main concern was trying to explain that his brother was missing. "Hello, I'm here to see the counselor?" Cameron called uncertainly, his voice ever so soft. His eyes were bright and alert, his hair was mussed from having fingers run through it a few too many times.

Cass had heard someone called from her while she was restocking some shelves and she needed to get there because they almost sounded desperate. When the Headmistress had come to her to be the school councilor she had no issues taking the job because she was trying to get away from her other job. "Coming." She said as she came in thru the back door to her office. When she walked in the door she almost dropped the books she was carrying. Not thinking about what she was saying, "Cameron, is everything ok?" She asked in a panic.

Cameron had been feeling uneasy all day, he wasn't used to being without Clayton for so long. He was standing just beyond the threshold of the office when he seen a nice looking brunette woman enter the room. The young man was sure he looked disheveled. He hadn't really had the energy to put himself together. He heard Ms. Taylor call out his name and looked at her curiously. He didn't recall ever meeting her. He may have been a tiny bit distraught, however that did not affect his acuity of perception. Choosing his words carefully, "Well, that is what I'm here about. It's my brother..." Cameron just couldn't bear to say it out loud. He had yet to verbalize that his brother was gone. He was afraid that uttering those words would make it real. He couldn't stand that.

Cass walked over to her brother because she was very concerned about what happened to Clayton. It was not like them to be without each other. She took Cam by the hand and led him over to the couch and sat him down then went over to her desk and took out her wand and conjured his favorite drink and one for her and then took it back over to him. She had placed a little calming potion in the drink to help him. "What crazy stunt has your brother gone off and done this time?" Cass asked a little concerned.

Cameron smiled as the woman led him to sit. He felt so overwhelmed at just the thought of being without his twin. He felt lost and confused. He too the drink that was offered and sipped it thoughtfully. He looked at the woman contemplatively and noticed that she seemed to know him on a deeper lever that eclipsed a teacher/student relationship. He pondered what to tell her, he couldn't tell her of Clayton's true objectives. However he could tell her that he had left. "He's gone, he just left. I woke up and he wasn't there. He left a note saying that he would find a way." Cameron explained to the woman as he tried to resist the urge to cry.

Cass could tell that Clayton being gone was really taking its toll on Cam and she wished that she could help him. She could but it meant bringing up things she had not thought of how to tell him as of yet. Cass got a little concerned about what he said about the note and wondered what he was getting out and she wished he would opened up to her. She got up and closed the doors tight and then went and got her wand and placed up spells so know one would hear hat was being said then went back over to him. "You can tell me anything Camy. Anything said in here is between us." Cass had not even realized she used a nickname she gave him when he was little.
