When growing up, Ninette was beaten by her father along with her mother, they suffered years of violence from the man and her mother suffered many miscarriages along with sexual violence. When Ninette turned a certain age her father was going to do the same to her but when her mother finally had enough money from the job she worked. Her mother got the two out of there and never looked back.

The cops helped them go into hiding but when Ninette's mother heard of a school that could keep children safe. She shipped Ninette out and stayed in hiding. Ninette only sees her mother on rare occasions, mostly she is trying to stay hidden from her father along with her mother.
